Rory Lobb has joined the long Greater Western Sydney injury list, while Sydney Swans forward Harry Cunningham is set to miss at least six weeks with an ankle injury.
Lobb suffered a groin injury for the second week running in the narrow win over Richmond, and spent most of the second half on the bench.
Post-match coach Leon Cameron said the injury would be monitored during the week, but the big man was likely to miss at least this week’s match against West Coast at Domain Stadium.
He joins teammate Devon Smith on the sidelines after Smith tore a meniscus in his knee in training ahead of the Richmond match.
With those two added to the unavailable list, the Giants now have potentially nine of their best 22 currently injured. Read more…
