Well, we took a short break for lunch and it all started happening!

– Adelaide have confirmed that Bryce Gibbs has a “strong desire” to return home to South Australia and that they’ve spoken to Carlton.

– Richmond have elected not to match the offer put to Tyrone Vickery from Hawthorn. They get a mid second-round compensation pick, currently pick 26.
Sarah Lucken October 10, 20161:34 pm

We asked you to let us know your ideal trades, here’s a few of them:

Brenton thinks Marley Williams and a late pick from Collingwood to Richmond for Brett Deledio could be a goer. Probably unders there for Deledio. That pick would have to be a late second or early third round selection. Williams would certainly the type that Richmond need though. Thanks Brenton.

Grant would like to see North Melbourne make a couple of trades. Brad McKenzie to Adelaide for Cam Ellis-Yolmen is one, and not too shabby either. The other is Aaron Black and pick 66 to Fremantle for Matt Taberner and pick 76. I think Aaron Black is probably worth a bit more than that, but would be a great get for Fremantle. Thanks Grant.

Stillmatick on twitter thinks we could see Pearce Hanley to Collingwood, Jarrod Witts to Gold Coast and Jack Frost to Brisbane with a couple of picks going Brisbane’s way. Brisbane want a first rounder for Hanley, they’d need a bit more than Frost and some late picks. Thanks Stillmatick.

We’ll put the most interesting trade scenarios up at various times during the day so keep shooting them through to us.

Richmond
The Tigers’ Dan Richardson had the following update early this afternoon:
– Deledio flags interest in going to Geelong.
– Richmond not interested in Steven Motlop.
– Reece Conca is likely to remain at Richmond.
– Tigers are interested in Toby Nankervis.
– Ben Lennon is exercising his right to look at his options outside of Richmond.

What can Carlton expect in return for Bryce Gibbs?

Sarah Lucken October 10, 20163:13 pm

Hawthorn just keep kicking goals.

Sarah Lucken October 10, 20163:21 pm

Fremantle

Brad Lloyd, Fremantle’s List Manager had plenty to say this afternoon:
Fremantle expect Cam McCarthy deal to get done.
Interested in Shane Kersten.
Joel Hamling undercided where he plays football in 2017, Fremantle interested in the defender.
Expect Chris Mayne to leave the club via free agency.
Think Hayden Ballantyne remains at the Dockers.

Will have to wait on Mayne compensation pick before starting talks with Hawthorn re: Brad Hill

Sarah Lucken October 10, 20164:01 pm

The Age is reporting that Zach Tuohy has requested a trade to Geelong.

It’s going to be another big trade period for the Cats with Brett Deledio and Zach Tuohy wanting in, Steve Motlop on the trade table and Shane Kersten and Nathan Vardy likely to want out.
